Wallenfels 09

Following the 4 previous very successful visits to Bingham's twin town of Wallenfels, Bavaria, Steve McRobie looking forward to running a fifth visit between Friday 14th and Sunday 23rd August 2009. Following feedback from previous visits we will be extending the visit this year to 9 days.

Whilst the detail of the trip is yet to be confirmed, it is hoped that we will follow a similar format to the last visit in 2007, namely;-

3 games for all kids who wish to play against 3 different German teams.
matches for parents against veteran teams of our hosts (number to be confirmed).
a busy schedule of visits to local attractions, including the Kronach Schützenfest, which is a large fair offering enjoyment for young and not so young visitors, including a couple of new ones for those who have been before.
enjoy a fantastic 'community' atmosphere in Wallenfels for kids and parents alike.

PLEASE NOTE, PLAYERS DO NOT NEED TO TRAVEL AS PART OF A SQUAD, THEY WILL BE ALLOCATED THEIR TEAM DEPENDING UPON NUMBERS FROM EACH AGE GROUP. EACH PLAYER WILL, HOWEVER, BE ALLOCATED A BINGHAM TEAM TO PLAY FOR.

Accommodation

Standard accommodation will be at the Wallenfels campsite, a superbly equipped site with outdoor pool and good facilities, although local B&Bs are available at extra cost.

Travel

There will be two options of travel, either 'make your own way' or flights and transfers with the group.

Costs

Total cost per person is expected to be approx £140 including transfers around Germany and insurance, but excluding flights.

Flights are currently on sale with Air Berlin for just under £90 per person return from Stansted to Nuremberg. Please note that the price for the flights will soon start to increase.
